Tonto Basin School District #33 Current Employment Openings:

 Head Cook

We are currently seeking a head cook.  Requirements include having a high school diploma or GED, resume, Gila County food handler card, CPR, First Aid Card, and a valid fingerprint clearance card.  This position requires opening cafeteria, preparing and serving breakfast and lunch. Cleaning premises and washing dishware. Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds, preferably 40 to 50 pounds.  Cook is expected to accept and put up groceries. Need some cooking experience, keep daily record of meals served, help maintain inventory records, and have knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.  Follow policies and procedures; Supports organization goals and values.  Math is used daily, need to have ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide; converting pounds to ounces and calculating how many students and staff were served. Hours average 35 hours per week. Not a year round position.  Substitute Bus Drivers

All applicants need to meet requirements, including a fingerprint clearance card, physical, drug screening, and hold a valid Class B CDL with passenger endorsement, as well as S endorsement for school bus. A current CPR and First Aid card will also be required. The school will provide and cover the cost of training and screening for selected applicant(s). Applications will be taken until the position is filled.

Substitute Teachers
We are currently looking for substitute teachers at all grade levels.
