Paraprofessional
The Paraprofessional position supports teachers and students in a K–8 education setting by assisting with instructional activities, classroom management, supervision, working with students individually or in groups and student support services. The paraprofessional works under the direction of certified staff to help create a positive, safe, and productive learning environment that promotes academic achievement and student well-being.In addition, they monitor students on the playground and in the cafeteria.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work with children in grades K–8.
- Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Demonstrate patience, flexibility, and professionalism.
Hourly (8 hours a day, 4 days a week). Hourly rate depending on experience $17 - $22.19. Benefits and AZ State Retirement.
