Immunizations
Parents wishing to enroll their child at Tonto Basin School must have a current copy of the immunization record when registering.
Arizona law allows exemptions for medical reasons, lab evidence of immunity, and personal beliefs. However, the parent or guardian must file an exemption form with the school.
If a student is re-enrolling, Tonto Basin School receives a yearly update from the Gila County Health Department as to the status of student vaccinations. If your child needs to receive shots, you will receive a notification in the following ways: mailed letter, email, and phone call. Please send a copy of the updated record to the front office so that we can file it. If you do not get the immunizations updated in a timely manner, your child will not be able to return to school until they have been completed.
